Screen Printing FAQ's

What is the minimum order quantity for screen printing?

Our minimum for screen printing orders is 24 pieces, all using the same design.

What type of artwork file do you require for screen printing?

Your best bet is to have a vector file ready for spot color jobs and a high-resolution (300 dpi) PSD, PDF, or PNG file for simulated jobs, as any low-resolution files submitted may require additional work and fees.

What is the turnaround time for screen printing orders?

We like to ask for a two week turnaround, but that's worst case scenario.

Do you offer any additional services, such as design or embroidery?

We offer both graphic design and embroidery! We can even bag your garments, attach hang tags, print neck labels and sew hem labels to add that next-level professional touch.

What type of garments or items can you screen print on?

We prefer to print on materials that we know will produce high-quality results, but we are always eager to expand our skills and knowledge. Feel free to bring us any printing project!

How many colors can be printed in a single design?

We have an 8 color press but running simulated process or CMYK allows us to print lifelike images using small dots.

What is the pricing structure for screen printing orders?

There are several factors that can affect the price of your order, including the cost and size of the garment (with larger sizes generally costing more), how many colors are in your design, and the quantity of garments ordered.

Can you match specific Pantone colors for my design?

Absolutely! However, we charge $15 per custom pantone color.

What is the difference between screen printing and other printing methods, such as digital or sublimation printing?

Screen printing is a traditional method that pushes ink through a stencil onto a garment, suitable for medium and high-volume orders and designs with few colors. Digital printing (also known as DTG or DTF) uses specialized printers to print directly onto a garment and is ideal for small to medium-sized orders and designs with hundreds of colors. Sublimation printing transfers ink from paper to polyester or polyester-coated items with heat and pressure and is best for polyester or polyester-coated items. Each method has its own strengths and limitations, but many experts agree that screen printing is the best choice due to its versatility and high-quality results.
